It's been rumored that nVidia has been cozy'ing up to Intel for a while too ... this isn't all that surprising; however, I don't really thik that this is a good thing for consumers. Q_Q

So what does this tell me as a future person who might buy a computer? Will graphics cards+ chips become as foreign to eachother like Macs and PCs?

Granted I'm sure on a performance level haveing a graphics card and chip-set together would work wonders but, let's say I like AMD, but want nVidia, what then?

I want to get a new computer someday when I have money, but everytime I look at product I hear there's something new coming out the week after, I hate computers!
