The description of the Lamia soudns really interesting ... especially the end ...

"Lamiae are known to sneak into towns in the depths of night, wielding powerful bows and hunting humans to replenish their armies; hence the Near Easterners' dread of sunset.

According to rumor, Lamiae are not technically a race of beastmen, but actually a form of organic weapon (also known as a chimera), created by alchemists fusing the parts of multiple organisms."

I would LOVE to see beastmen invasions of towns on occasion ... not too often, but occasionally. That said, I'm not getting my hopes up in that aspect.

the vaginal titles are from the posting ranking system we had from our old website. more posts = btr name. altho a lot of ppl have custom made titles which arent related to how many posts they made.

As much as I'd hate to get a thread somewhat back on topic, but to whet your appetite for ToAU tidbits some more, I'll post a couple pics from when I traded in a piece of Omega.

In the pics, one of the NPCs is a Blue Mage (wearing full Nashira), and the other one mentions where the Homam gear comes from (Aht Urhgan). I'm not sure what the CS is like the 2nd time you hand in Omega gear (Oro could answer that), and I haven't heard if handing in Ultima pieces gives a different CS either.

One other interesting line that wasn't in those pictures was:
Hadiyah: May your name be praised, adventurer!
With this, restoration of the light divinity shall proceed in leaps and bounds!

When you hand in another piece, you don't get any sort of cutscene.

The NPC basically just says "oh you found another piece, here's some more armor!"
