How to lvl up in FFXII while AFK

Since some people wanted me to post this here it is, got this from another fourm.

I really wouldn't reccomend you do this till like the end of the game and you already done most of the stuff. Cuase it will make the rest of the game really easy otherwise. But toward the end of the game a few of the final optional monsters and hunts do reguire close to lv99 to have a chance at winning. Incase you don't want to grind out all those levels yourself you can just do it with gambits and leave the game on overnight. Like there is this one guy that takes over 6 hours even with 6 lv99s.

Also note it takes about 20-30 remedies for like 24 real life hours of leveling.

    Negalmuur’s Endless Spawns Leveling Guide

This is a trick to exp on the endless spawning of Ghast by Negalmuur to gain endless Levels, EXP and LP.

    Step 1: Preparations.

-Get all of your characters to at least LV. 30
-Equip them with the most up to date weapons and armors.
-Having all 3 mist charges is recommended because of the MP boost you get.
-A short while after defeating Mateus you will be able to buy remedies at loot shops. Buy 10-20 depending on how long you want to level up.
-Get "Remedy Lore 3" on the liscence board. It allows remedy to cure Doom.

    Step 2: Gambit Setup.

    Character 1 (Party Leader):

    Self - Haste
    Ally: HP < 70% - Cura
    Ally: Any - Raise
    Ally: Any - Esuna
    Ally: Party Leader - Remedy
    Foe: HP < 3,000 - Attack
Self - Charge or Self MP < 10% Charge

    Character 2:

    Self - Haste
    Ally: HP < 70% - Cura
    Ally: Any - Raise
    Ally: Any - Esuna
    Ally: Party Leader - Remedy
    Self - Decoy
    Foe: HP < 3,000 - Attack
Self - Charge or Self MP < 10% Charge

    Character 3:

    Self - Haste
    Ally: HP < 70% - Cura
    Ally: Any - Raise
    Ally: Any - Esuna
    Ally: Party Leader - Remedy
    Self - Decoy
    Foe: HP < 3,000 - Attack
Self – Charge or Self MP < 10% Charge

Step 3: Clear the Stillshrine of Miriam

Finish the whole stage at least to the point that the “Sword of Judgment” is lifted from the path in the “Ward of the Sword-King”, this is required to be able to clear the whole “Ward of the Sword-King” of any enemies.

    Step 4: Hunt for Negalmuur.

In “Ward of the Sword King” which is the corridor at West from Save Crystal (go bottom from Save Crystal), kill all enemies there, exit and re-enter. Keep re-entering it might take up to 20 or more tries before you encounter Negalmuur but each time you leave the area make sure it is totally cleared of ALL enemies.

You may have to zone seveal times to clear all the enemies. If you enter the Ward of the Sword king form the save crystal room you go directly west and Negalmuur will spawn in front of the statue but ont till you get right up close to it.

    Step 5: Reap the Rewards.

During the battle with Negalmuur with the setup above mentioned he will summon a Ghast every 4-8 seconds and your characters will keep attacking them only because they have less than 3,000HP and Negalmuur has over 18,000HP with each kill you get 1LP and about 340EXP per character (Assuming you have a party of 3) also this can be further enhanced with accessories that multiply the EXP and LP gained he will endlessly summon the Ghast. Remedies will only be used when Doom is cast on the leader. If any other status effect is cast on the leader like Petrify, Esuna will be used. Because the other characters have Decoy the leader having Doom cast on him will be rare so not to many remedies will be used. Once you have gotten to the point where you want to stop DON’T kill him leave the room and save in the save crystal in the next room and re-set your game this will let you encounter him in the future. edit: Actually it doesn't if you kill him cause you can just make him sapwn again

Nice. Endless xp is technically an exploit and therefore a bug. S-E is usually pretty careful about it but I guess the Gambit system made it so ppl could finally figure out a safe way to do this. And they did!

Rogue Galaxy is like this, except you can pretty much do this anywhere - get in a dungeon with relatively weak creatures that you wanna farm for items, tie your 2 analog sticks together with the cable, and take off. Come back in a couple hours and job is done! Sweet exploits mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Wasnt there something in FF6 when you were on that river where you could set it so if you had something holding down the button he would keep going around in circles on the raft and Banon or w/;e the fuck his name was could keep healing and you could walk away from the game for hours and come back and you would have a shit load of exp and shit because they would just keep on battling and killing stuff because the button was held down and stuff.... and stuff?

    i think...

In regards to the normal flow of the game I would see no need to do this. If you just kill enough to get the loot moneys to keep your gear up-to-date your level will be more than enough to do whatever. For the super stupid hard optional enemies yeah maybe, but faith/reverse/curaga makes doing damage pretty easy from what I've read.

theres a sense of accomplishment if you exp from lvl1-lvl99. if you just tape down the X button and the left joystick and run in circles for 6 hours and get lvl 99 and 99 of items that sell for 2k/each, yea you can pwn the bejesus out of w/e you want but theres no accomplishment feeling ;;. its sorta like doing Nurburgring on B-Spec mode in GT4 ALL the goddamn time. yea you win but its more fun if you race it in A-Spec. during 24h endurance races, hell yea go for B-Spec but race an hour or two yourself! at least! but thats me. i didnt buy any of your ffxii's so do what you will with em!

The Uplands area before Arcadia is great. 500-1200 a kill, real easy, good loot drops for gil; could easily ride through level 40-50 here.

I haven't been far enough into the game to see but just in the few areas I've jumped ahead to (Feywood, Necrohol, etc) enemies don't seem much higher than mid-upper 40's. Are there areas later in-game that support enemies in the 50-90 range to level on if you're REALLY into doing that? I couldn't see myself really trying to push through those upper levels if I need 100k+ a level and I get only 1k a kill.
