I was talkin to Lef before about Diablo 2 and we were thinkin about sometime in the future gettin a game together. I wanna see how many people would be interested. So post if you are!

Apparently on May 19th, Blizzard is announcing their next title. On the front page of their main site, they have a timeline which ends with a "?" and I am hoping that it is SC2...

As for D2... My CDs have probably all deteriorated due to lack of care, but it doesn't hurt to test them!

BTW... anyone want a small charm of magic find for 2 SOJ?

Count me as a Yes since i guess probably isn't that clear, my only worry is if it is a scheduled thing then other stuff might conflict with the times

Great Question. When i see who is interested, we will go from there, as to how many have the expansion. I would like to do expansion, but if a few people don't have it, i dont want to leave too many out.

We will figure out all the details once people are ready to go. I'll gather info on best times for people, and what not. This doesn't have to be extremely formal, or anything, just some fun shit to do on the side.

actually i dont think you can play d2 online w/o the xpac. i think i remember trying and i couldnt.

I'm pretty sure its jsut that you cannot play expansion characters online without the xpac. There is an option in character select to upgrade your character (whether original or xpac character) to an expansion character.

So, if by some off chance the majority of people dont have the xpac (which i doubt is the case) we could play using non-expansion characters.

Hrm... I've had D2 and the expansion for years now, and still haven't gotten around to playing it (except for once, at a LAN party a few years ago). I'd be down for playing online sometime, if you guys don't mind dealing with someone who's not all that familiar with the game.

I have the expansion!

This works out well, I was thinking about doing some d2 the other day, once or twice a year I'll play diablo 2 religiously for like 2 weeks and just make like 6 characters and pimp them out. With people to play with I'll probably be able to keep it up longer and not burn out as fast. I like jav-azons!

We gonna play ladder, non-ladder, or hardcore (I've tried doing hardcore with a friend before and it didn't work out well, we'd get to lvl 10, then one of us would die, it is tough). I'm up for w/e everyone else wants to do.
