Its Kurakuni, need some help!

Hey guys, Its Kurakuni (The -real- Kurakuni, not whatever person is controlling her now). I'm in some dire need of help. It seems like what friends I can remember that I still can contact, are in BC . I don't know if any of you guys remember me, but Claymoore, Vivec, Carm, Ryudei, Scionith, and Cami are names that I know I can remember hanging with, especially you Claymoore.

If you can't remember me, I was a Mithra with white hair, main job was 75 RNG, but I also had a high level NIN and WAR.

So, this is my request. I need to find out who is playing my account, and I need to talk to them. I've heard they have high levels in MNK and WAR now, and who knows what else. Ive posted on Allakhazam as well about this (Is that site even used anymore?). Last I've seen they sold stuff through Kurakuni and Kurakunii (my mule) around July on FFXIAH. What I want to ask is if you guys could scan for Kurakuni and Kurakunii and try to talk to them, and tell them that I am looking to talk to the person. They might even be Japanese, but I'm not sure about it. Ask for their email or something like that so I can contact them.

I'm trying to get everyone I know that still plays to help me out, because Im trying to come back to the game. Frankly, most people I know have quit though...(Its been years...). Anyways, If any of you guys have seen Kurakuni recently, know any information, screenshots, or even know me, please post on this topic! Thanks! (Screenshots of me if you have any would be awesome too, I lost all of mine years back)

Did you sell your account before or gave it to a friend? Because if that's so, I highly doubt you are able to get it back...

If you still have the original information, you can get it back easily from SE. If you gave it to a friend though, that would be a pretty dick move.

Hey Kura, haven't seen your chara online in a long long time. You can force the account with original info like Vandyr says but how'd you lose the account in the first place? Anyway last I saw Kurakuni musta been over a year ago now and it seemed to be you then, iirc.

I still have the original info, but I bet stuff like name and address has been changed, along with the password and credit card info of course. I kept coming back to the game and I really needed not to cause I had too much going on in my life, so I sold it so I couldn't come back . Long story short things have gotten better and I'm wanting to play again, but I really don't want to restart again.

I'm trying to get a hold of whoever has it and see if they would give it back to me or whatever. From what Ryudei said, I have a feeling whoever had my account quit and it died from being inactive..... I hope I can find a way to get it back.

Yea, FFXI isn't like it was 3-4 years ago. SE made it very easy to level any job now, and there's tons of ways to get EXP outside of EXP parties.

Yea man! They made it super shorter now. Higher level people can also lower their own level to your level so we can all exp together!

Oh wow thats really cool, I didn't know about those new features. Seems like they started paying attention a lot of what people were complaining about. Thats really the only thing I ever had against FFXI was the endless seeking for parties, sitting in town forever waiting for that tell, and being unable to do pretty much anything on your own. Besides that I've always thought the game was perfect really, the grind never bothered me (Anyone who knows me probably remembers how fast I would level ). I'll have to look into that if what you guys are saying is true.

Though Id still like to get back my account because I'm sure getting to 75 will still take awhile, and leveling my other jobs back up. That and just because Its nostalgic to have my old character back, since its like, me I'm going to keep looking into a way to get it back, and if anyone sees it online, try to make contact!

If it ends up my account has bit the dust or whatever, I may just restart. If I do that, I'll be heading to this HMNLS for sure once Im up that high . Does anyone know if Vivec still plays?

So do you guys think the game is still alive and community thriving or is it starting to slow down a lot more as people move onto other stuff? I'm amazed at some of you guys who I remember playing with when I was low-mid level are still playing now. I started playing on launch day for PS2, so its amazing to see some people around in various forums still playing the same game even today. What do you guys think about the general status of FFXI? Hows endgame stuff now?

I stopped playing FFXI over a year ago now, my girl dragged me off at the time by convincing me how horrible the game was (She was right about it too, which is why I bough into her FFXI hating).

Seems a lot has changed within the last year, I've considered coming back since I have a newer computer.. But I don't have half the time I used to. I have a better more time consuming job, and I'm not home as much as I used to be. Unless the whole logging on waiting 2 hours for a group thing has changed, I can't see myself going back.

Haha! Poor Ryu. Your my RNG buddy so I have to side with you in the end! lol. It's all good! I'll keep you guys informed, and once I get my account back I'll be sure to meet up with everyone and kick it oldschool. Back in my day we sat in Juneo! Whats all of this Whitegate nonsense? lol.

I'm really eager to check out the rest of COP (I only made it to the first actual hard part, with those 3 guys...I think Vivec died quite a lot with me doing that!) and all of the other new expansions after that I have never seen.

Vivec do you still have all of your old screenshots? I lost all of my screenshots of my character, do you have any of me? Or does anyone for that matter? Ryu? Carm? Claymoore? o_o. I wish I still had them

I think I deleted most of my old pictures, I still have some of Vivec standing over dead Dark Knights though... Fun times. Like I said though, I haven't played in over a year. I'm assuming the level sync thing must help with CoP a lot though.
