I seem to have a problem with this virus that keeps comming back despite norton saying it has deleted it. Here's a picture of it. I don't even know where I am getting it from cause I mostly use firefox.

Zumi, that virus steals various MMO logins and attempts to steal accounts. I recommend you change your PW on your XBox RIGHT NOW and format your PC.

    Now.

    Like RIGHT FUCKING NOW.

Also, just using firefox doesn't help you at all. You need to download adblock and noscript.

    Seriously. Format RIGHT NOW!

Don't try to clean it with some bullshit anti-virus software.

FORMAT YOUR HARD DRIVES RIGHT NOW!

Do what izzy said, with the reformat and using firefox addon's. That virus is a very good one. Once you get it you have it. When it gets into your computer it plants "Spores". These are a few tiny files in your system (One is even planted in your Root files). Once you find and remove the virus the Spores are on timers in which they will reproduce the virus every XXX amount of time. The files with the spores in them are randomly generated so its near impossible for a virus scanner to find them till they remake the virus itself (Which seems to happen, at least your finding it before it can do harm). Only way to get rid of it fully is to reformat, like izzy said. Edit: Also that's the cleanest desktop i've ever seen.

Ok so i just changed password on Xbox. Either this came from my bother installing stupid programs when he came over, or from like ffxiah. Looks like they didn't get anything. I noticed nortort kept removing the same virus over and over at least 5 times now. Why do they sell this stuff if it doesn't work, actually it was free with the PC i bought but still.

This is like the 4th or 5th time I had to reinstall.

That's the virus name, not the filename. And Zumi, re-read what Kagebishin wrote if you're wondering why Norton keeps redetecting the virus. In summary it's because Norton cleans the active case of the virus, but can't find any of the other randomly infected files on your system that re-introduce the virus. Think of it like a doctor going into a crowded room full of people, some of whom have the flu with no obvious symptoms, some don't, and one person is obviously sick. The doctor cures the obviously sick person (Norton cleaning the virus), but there are others still there that will start showing symptoms at some random time in the future (Norton re-detecting the virus later).

Were you trying to download a torrent or play an online game on a private server? 'cause 62.20.182.53 is owned by a telco in Sweden, and TCP ports in the 53000 range are dynamic ports usually opened up by torrent swarm connections and occasionally by multiplayer game connections. If someone were trying to hack you, you should be getting a lot more notices about intrusion on different ports... considering that the Pirate Bay's in Sweden, I'm guessing you were trying to download some torrent though.
