    For Laulau! BRD stuff

    Laulau asked me to post some BRD stuff, including macros. If any other bards have helpful stuff to add, feel free to post!

    Elemental Staves
    Lullaby = Light
    Requiem= Light
    Finale = Light
    Elegy = Earth
    Light Threnody = Dark
    Dark Threnody = Light
    Fire Threnody = Water
    Ice Threnody = Fire
    Wind Threnody = Ice
    Earth Threnody = Wind
    Lightning Threnody = Earth
    Water Threnody = Lightning

    For macros, once you get higher lvl you will probably wanna switch between Errant body for mob enfeebles and Minstrel's Coat for pt buffs, OR Osode for mob enfeebles and Manteel for pt buffs if you are able. The general rule is that CHR, Wind and String skill help for mob enfeebles, and all singing/wind/string can add a bit to pt buffs but CHR doesn't help there, so macro accordingly.

    Some of my macros:

    Mob enfeebs-

    line 1- /ma "Foe Lullaby" <t>
    line 2- /equip neck "String Torque"
    line 3- /equip main "Apollo's Staff"
    line 4- /equip body "Errant Hpl." or w/e you are gonna use
    line 5- /equip ear1 "String Earring"
    line 6- /equip range "Nursemaid's Harp"

    line 1- /ma "Carnage Elegy" <t> (you can use <bt> but be careful, esp. on Requiem- if a mob is slept near you it can target this one)
    line 2- /equip main "Terra's Staff"
    line 3- /equip neck "Wind Torque"
    line 4- /equip body "Errant Hpl."
    line 5- /equip ear1 "Wind Earring"
    line 6- /equip range "Horn +1"

    line 1- /ma "Ltng. Threnody" <t>
    line 2- /equip main "Terra's Staff"
    line 3- /equip neck "String Torque"
    line 4- /equip body "Errant Hpl."
    line 5- /equip ear1 "String Earring"
    line 6- /equip range "Sorrowful Harp"

    And for pt buffs (just change song name and instrument but setup is the same for each)-

    line 1- /ma "Valor Minuet IV" <me>
    line 2- /equip range "Cornette +2"
    line 3- /equip main "Chanter's Staff" (if you get this, it gives some skill)
    line 4- /equip ear1 "Wind Earring"
    line 5- /equip neck "Wind Torque"
    line 6- /equip body "Minstrel's Coat"

    Changing out your skill gear for pt buffs isn't essential but it can give like a few more attack or so if you can and have the gear for it. Also, I have only 1 macro pallette for BRD, so I have just 1 Threnody macro and some flex macros that I change for each pt (for example, leave maybe 2 or 3 for Paralyna Erase Blindna etc., whatever you need for each situation.

    Very good macro sets:

    The ear-rings may not be necessary to the extent that, some people have posted before (and I've tried it myself) that you really only get 1 more att or def for every 10 skill. So the combination of Mintrel's+torque is generally enough. You can try it by using the skill on af as well, you'll see it won't change your stats much.

    Now for those hidden stats like mambo, madrigal...there's no telling how the skill changes those. For the cost, I've just stuck with melody +1 and Beastly ear-ring.

    All those macros are top notch ^^

    edit: IF you use windower and their macro tables (I don't so don't ask me about it) but can use several more macro lines to switch in af and a whole bunch of odd stuff. What ends up limiting you at that point is your inv space, need Gobbie Bag X

    Yes, I actually bought the Singing Earring and Chanter's Staff at one point, and tried Minuet with and without...I got 1 more to attack. So definitely not worth the money, I just macro in wind and string since I have em anyway for enfeebs
